Patrick has worked in graphic and interactive design and UX strategies for 15 years. Former Lead Faculty for Web Design and Interactive Media at the Art Institutes International - Kansas City, Patrick founded Garmache.com and serves as the principal designer and creative director, while working at his own consulting and Web design business, bignnamebrain.
Patrick hails from South of Indianapolis, Indiana, where grass roots farming was not as common as one might think. Yes, there is plenty of corn in Indiana and yes, it's from large commercial farms. At the ripe age of eight, Patrick learned to cook. The motivation was simple, either gag down a helping of the Hoosier tradition of shit on a shingle or start experimenting in the kitchen.
Immersed in the art world, Patrick combines his passion for design with food with extraordinary results. He has an effortless knack for designing interactive foodie events that include art, culture, and food as well as designing some outrageous wedding cakes.
Patrick has a UFO parked above his garage. Just ask his imaginary friends about it.
The documentary, Forganics, was concepted and directed by Patrick and produced and executed by his team in less than five months.
